Your Life. Your Plan. Financial LIFE Planning.

Too often, financial planning is thought to only mean 'retirement planning'. Well - What if you're already in retirement? What if retirement is decades away? What if you already have enough? Financial planning is SO much more than retirement planning, and one portion of life shouldn't dominate all financial decisions!

Many years ago, I came across Kinder Life Planning. Over time, George Kinder's work has stayed on my mind. In fact, if you have completed the "tough questions" exercise with us, it is from his work.

I recently had the opportunity to spend more time learning about the bigger scope of Life Planning. Financial planning is more than just the numbers, and the process that Kinder has created is a framework for exploring how you can be a good steward of the resources you have and align them to your purpose. We want to bring more of the Kinder framework into the work we do with you.

Yes, the numbers behind your plan are important; but instead of seeing only the numbers on a page, we know they come to life when we see that they represent the opportunities you have to achieve your priorities. We've said many times, "where time and money is spent identifies priorities."  Unfortunately, going on autopilot can easily become a default and opportunities can be passed by. With thoughtfulness and intention, financial planning can allow us freedom and opportunity to pursue what's most important. No one else has the ability to define that for you. Only you can define it for yourself.

Once you do take the time to align your future vision with today's realities (as many of you already have!), the process gives you healthy boundaries and a clear focus to make progress. Seeing our clients make that progress is why we love to do what we do.

We invite you to engage in this process.
